Waltzer part 2.

After getting Elvis and Britney 90 percent finished I masked them and started the background, usually i would finish the background before removing the masking but I didnt want to leave it on over night in the cold and damp.

Happy Birthday Elvis Aaron Presley.

First day of getting some art on this piece, after 6 coats of 2k primer sanded down 3 times in between coats as it is on top of old paint.I started with a transparent light skin tone then a darker skin tone moving on to black mixed with violet and blue for the hair, eyes and shading on the jacket. Then I put a yellow base on the jacket then shaded it with a dark transparent red.Finished with blue and transparent purple before I mask it to fill in the background, this is the left side of a 32ft x 8ft flash for the top sign on a waltzer.Designed by Paul Wright.

Boxers wall mural.

This customer is connected to the Olympian Gym,so wanted the same artwork with a twist, hence the Tyson and black and white, all done in automotive basecoat, which does stink but till I find a good water based paint it does the job best.I mixed the black with a dark violet to make it a cleaner looking black.

Happy new Year

This is the early stages of a true fire guitar im working on.After filling scratches on the guitar ive applied a black 2k primer then flat with 600 paper. Now ive started applying the background flames with white then a few coats of cobalt blue candy concentrate mixed into a clear basecoat.Watch this space as I build up the flames.
